The elegant Jami Masjid at Mandu. More of a temple of justice than of prayer, it had galleries for ladies and a jury box. Hoshang Shah's tomb, just behind the Masjid, is an extraordinary white-marble mausoleum that predates the Taj and is, apparently, its inspiration.
